01 / Three simple steps

Copy the address, then wait for your email

No account or password is required. Your temporary inbox is created on the first screen, making it ideal for short-term sign-ups, verification codes, and one-off tasks where you prefer not to share your real email.

01

Copy the disposable email address

Click the copy button next to the address, then paste the random email into the page where you need to register or verify. Each time you change it, you get a separate address.

02

Stay on the page and wait for your message

New messages appear in your inbox. Verification codes usually show up in the subject or preview; refresh manually if needed.

03

Leave when you’re done

The default lifetime is 3 hours. You can extend it by 3 hours at a time, up to 24 hours from creation.

02 / Choose the right option

Short-term inbox or long-term separation?

Temporary email and permanent forwarding aliases solve different problems. Choose based on task duration, account recovery needs, and attachment size. Don’t use a temporary address for an identity that must be recoverable long term.

TEMP / 3H DEFAULT

Verification codes and one-time sign-ups

Use an anonymous email when trying a tool, downloading resources, or joining a one-off event to keep follow-up marketing messages separate. It can receive common text-based verification codes, though a service may still reject temporary domains.

ALIAS / LONG TERM

Ongoing subscriptions and account notifications

Create a forwarding alias when you need ongoing delivery. Websites see only the alias, while messages reach your real inbox. Disable an alias individually whenever you no longer trust its source.

RECOVERY / KEEP ACCESS

Keep a recovery route for important accounts

Temporary email is unsuitable for banking, work, government services, and paid accounts. Use a real email or forwarding alias you can control long term, so an expired address doesn’t lock you out.

PRIVACY / LESS EXPOSURE

Reduce exposure of your real address

Use a different alias for each site to quickly identify who leaked or misused your address. Disabling one alias won’t affect your other forwarding relationships.

03 / Know the limits

Free, but don’t risk important email

TmpOne focuses on fast, low-friction email receiving. Knowing the retention period and attachment rules helps you avoid treating a temporary inbox like permanent cloud email.

Temporary inbox

Messages end with the address lifetime

Temporary credentials are stored only in your current browser. The address lasts 3 hours by default and can be extended to 24 hours from creation; expired addresses and messages cannot be recovered. Temporary inboxes don’t retain attachments, so they’re best for text notifications and verification codes.

≤ 50MBForwarding aliases deliver normally and retain messages in the dashboard for 30 days.
50–100MBThe message is still forwarded to the receiving email, but no archive is retained in the dashboard.
> 100MBThe entire message is rejected. Ask the sender to use a file link or compress the content.

Before you start, get the key answers

Straight answers about verification codes, expiration, privacy, and choosing an address.

How do I use a free temporary email?

Your address is generated as soon as you open the page. Copy it into the target website, then return to the inbox and wait for the message. No registration is required; leave when you’re done or change the address to start a new isolated session.

Can a disposable email receive verification codes?

Yes. It can receive most verification codes and confirmation links sent by email. However, the sending website decides whether to accept temporary domains, and TmpOne cannot bypass its registration rules. Use a long-term email for important accounts.

Can I recover a temporary email after it expires?

No. It lasts 3 hours by default, and each extension adds 3 hours, up to 24 hours total. Once expired, the address, credentials, and messages cannot be restored.

How is it different from a 10-minute email?

Both are short-term disposable email services. TmpOne provides 3 hours by default, making it better for slower confirmation emails, and lets you extend access within a 24-hour limit instead of expiring after a fixed ten minutes.

Does an anonymous inbox save attachments?

The temporary inbox does not retain attachments. If you need to receive files, use a permanent forwarding alias and note the 50MB and 100MB processing limits.

Will a permanent forwarding alias reveal my real email?

Senders see the alias, not your receiving email. The system forwards messages to you; you can create separate aliases for different sources and disable addresses you no longer need.

05 / WHY TRUST US

What a mail service worth trusting looks like

Trust is expensive in the temporary-email business — users hand over a receiving channel. We answer with four verifiable operating principles, not adjectives.

Rules before promises

3-hour default, 24-hour cap, 100 aliases, 50MB per message, 30-day archive — every limit is published on the page, behaviour matches documentation, and nobody plays "unlimited" word games.

Receive-only, always

Every address on this site is receive-only. That single rule cuts spam abuse off at the root and protects deliverability for every user's address.

No overreach in processing

Mail gets automated screening and routing — no profiling, no selling, no sharing. Expired means deleted; there are no shadow copies.

No policy evasion

When a sender blocks temporary domains, we point you to a forwarding alias instead of rotating domains to force through — short-term convenience isn't worth long-term usability.

Your address is ready. Start receiving email now.
