1. Scope
This policy applies to the temporary inboxes, permanent forwarding aliases, dashboard, and support services provided by tmpone.com. Emails sent to TmpOne addresses from third-party websites are also handled under this policy; how those third parties collect your information is governed by their own policies.
2. Information We Process
Temporary inboxes
To create and access an inbox, we process a random email address, access credentials, creation and expiry times, and the sender, subject, body, and delivery metadata of incoming messages. Access credentials are stored in the current browser session to verify that you are authorized to read the temporary inbox.
Forwarding aliases
When you use permanent forwarding, we process your receiving email address, login code verification result, created alias, alias status, delivery records, spam classifications, and sender rules. Forwarding email necessarily requires processing envelope data and message content in transit.
Operational and security data
To maintain reliability, limit abuse, and investigate failures, we may process IP addresses, timestamps, request types, browser technology information, and error and security incident records. We do not manually add analytics tracking code to pages; the deployment environment may apply basic access analytics through site-wide configuration.
3. Purposes and Legal Bases
- Create an address, receive and display or forward email at your request;
- Verify dashboard logins and maintain alias settings;
- Prevent spam, automated attacks, fraud, and system abuse;
- Diagnose delivery failures and maintain capacity and service security;
- Respond to support, privacy, and legal requests.
4. Retention
Temporary mailboxes last 3 hours by default and may be extended, but their total lifetime cannot exceed 24 hours after creation. Once they expire, the address, credentials, and associated messages cannot be recovered by the user. Normal email archives in the forwarding dashboard are retained for 30 days and should not be used as permanent backups. Messages of 50–100 MB may be forwarded but are not archived; messages over 100 MB are rejected. Operational and security logs are retained only for as long as needed to maintain security, handle failures, and meet legal obligations.
5. Sharing and Processors
We do not sell your emails or receiving email address. To provide web hosting, email delivery, security protection, and troubleshooting support, necessary data may be processed by infrastructure providers bound by appropriate restrictions. We may also disclose necessary information as required by law, to protect user safety, or to investigate abuse.
6. Security Measures
We use access controls, credential verification, transmission safeguards, rate limiting, and data minimization measures. However, email is not an end-to-end encrypted storage space, and no internet service can guarantee absolute security. Do not use a temporary address to send passwords, recovery codes, identity documents, or highly sensitive materials.
7. Your Choices and Rights
You can stop using a temporary inbox, change its address, disable or delete aliases in the dashboard, and manage sender rules. Where applicable law provides these rights, you may request access to, correction or deletion of, restriction of, or objection to the processing of information about you. We may need to verify your identity; if you cannot prove control of a random temporary address, we cannot provide its contents to the requester.
8. Children
This service is not designed for children below the age specified by applicable law. If a parent or guardian believes that a child has provided us with personal information, they can contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.
9. Policy Updates
We will update this page and revise the date when our product, legal requirements, or security practices change. We will highlight material changes in a reasonable location; please review the latest text before continuing to use the service.
10. Contact Us
Please send privacy requests or questions to support@tmpone.com. Please state the type of request and the relevant service, but do not include passwords or verification codes in your email.
