DELIVERY CHECK / 4 BRANCHES

The Email Hasn’t Arrived—Don’t Change the Address Yet

Generating new addresses repeatedly usually won’t help. It may send an already-requested email to an old inbox instead. Follow the steps below to find the problem quickly.

Wait 2–5 minutes firstThen verify the full addressFinally, request a new email
01 / DECISION TREE

Which situation are you seeing?

Start with the symptom that best matches what you see—you don’t need to try everything at once.

A / STILL EMPTY

The inbox opens, but no email arrives after 5 minutes

  1. Return to the sending website and check the email prefix and domain.
  2. Make sure the page shows “Sent successfully,” not a form-validation error.
  3. Click resend only once, and keep the current address.
B / EXPLICITLY REJECTED

The website says this email address isn’t accepted

This is the sender’s registration policy, not a delivery failure. TmpOne does not bypass domain restrictions. Use your regular email instead, or use a forwarding address where aliases are allowed.

C / COUNTDOWN ENDED

The address has expired or was replaced

Expired addresses and old credentials cannot be recovered. If the target account still lets you change its email, start again and complete verification promptly. Use a long-term address for important accounts.

D / PAGE ERROR

The refresh button does nothing or the network connection dropped

Keep the current page open, check your connection, and then refresh. Don’t clear site data or reopen the page in a private window, or your local session credentials may be lost.

90-Second Quick Check

  • Is the address exactly correct: Pay special attention to lookalike characters, the domain suffix, and any extra spaces added while pasting.
  • Is the countdown still running: If it is nearly over, extend it first. Once the 24-hour limit from creation is reached, it cannot be extended further.
  • Did the sending website actually submit the request: Some pages also require a CAPTCHA, agreement to the terms, or a second confirmation.
  • Have you requested the code too many times: Repeated requests in a short time may trigger the sender’s rate limit. Pausing for a few minutes works better than continuing to click.
  • Did you just change the address: After you change it, the old address immediately stops belonging to the current inbox. Earlier emails will not be transferred.
Never share a verification code with anyone. TmpOne support staff will never ask for an email verification code, password, or complete sign-in link.
02 / WHY IT HAPPENS

Why is the verification code delayed?

The sender is processing the request

Verification codes are usually sent through a third-party email service. Peak traffic, rate limits, or template-system failures can leave several minutes between “submitted” and “actually sent.”

Temporary-domain policies

Some platforms reject disposable email addresses to reduce bulk sign-ups. Acceptance is decided by the other party, and changing the random prefix usually won’t change a domain-level decision.

Session credentials changed

Access to a temporary inbox depends on credentials stored by the current browser. Clearing storage, opening it on another device, or changing the address can change which inbox you see.

The address was entered incorrectly

Mail systems deliver to the exact address submitted. One missing character creates a different recipient, and TmpOne cannot automatically correct or redirect it.

Still haven’t received it? Keep the address and contact the sender.

03 / FAILURE PATTERNS

The four kinds of "it never arrived"

Different symptoms call for different moves. Matching the pattern beats blind retries every time.

SymptomMost likely causeRight move
Clicked send, inbox stays silentThe submitted address has a typo, or the site's request never actually succeededVerify the address character by character; confirm the site showed a "sent" acknowledgment before waiting
Arrived after 10+ minutesSender queue congestion or greylisting delayDon't hammer resend — each new code voids the old one; resend once, then watch for 5 minutes
"This email address is not allowed"The site blocks temporary domainsSwitch to a forwarding alias or a real address; it's the sender's policy and can't be bypassed
Mail arrived but the link is deadThe verification link expired before delivery, or a newer email superseded itUse the link or code from the newest email and ignore older ones
04 / BEFORE ASKING SUPPORT

Bring this file before contacting their support

Most "email never arrived" tickets bounce back and forth because the message lacks the facts needed to locate the fault. Collect these four items and state them once.

  • The exact receiving address you submitted — copied or screenshotted, not retyped from memory.
  • The precise time and timezone you triggered the send, to the minute.
  • What the site's page said at that moment: "sent", "failed", or an error code.
  • What you've already ruled out: spam folder checked, spelling verified, waited more than 10 minutes.
