01 / GETTING STARTED

Disposable email basics

How do I use a disposable email address?

Open the home page or inbox page and the system will generate a random address. Copy it to the target website, then return here and wait for the message. Leave when your short-term task is complete—no account logout is needed.

How is it different from a 10-minute email?

The purpose is similar: both provide short-term, one-time addresses. TmpOne offers a 3-hour window by default, extendable by 3 hours at a time, up to 24 hours from creation.

Can I customize a disposable email address?

Temporary inboxes primarily use random addresses to reduce conflicts and guessability. If you need to name and manage addresses by source over time, a forwarding alias is a better fit.

Do I need to register or set a password?

Not for a temporary inbox. The permanent forwarding console requires verification of your receiving email, then lets you sign in without a password using a 6-digit verification code.

02 / DELIVERY ISSUES

Verification codes and incoming mail

Can a disposable email receive verification codes?

Yes, it can receive most verification codes and activation links sent by email. However, the sender’s website may reject disposable domains, and TmpOne does not bypass its registration policies.

Why hasn’t my verification code arrived?

Common causes include a mistyped address, delays in the sender’s queue, rate limiting after repeated requests, an expired address, or rejection of disposable domains. Wait 2–5 minutes, then follow the checks in the diagnostics console.

Will refreshing repeatedly make it arrive faster?

No. Refreshing only checks for messages that have already arrived; it cannot speed up the sender. Repeated verification-code requests may even trigger rate limits on the other service.

Will old messages move to a new address?

No. The old and new addresses have separate inboxes. After switching, update the address on the target website, or messages will continue going to the old one.

03 / EXPIRATION & PRIVACY

What cannot be recovered

Can I recover messages after an address expires?

No. We do not guarantee recovery after expiration, voluntarily changing the address, or losing the browser session credential. Do not use a temporary inbox for banking, your primary work account, or paid accounts.

Is a disposable email completely anonymous?

It can keep you from giving your real email address to a registration service, but it is not a complete anonymity tool. The target website, network services, and email content may still contain identifying information.

Can someone see my messages if they know the address?

Accessing the inbox also requires a credential saved in your browser, but the email address itself should not be treated as secret. Do not share it publicly or use it for highly sensitive content.

Do you sell email content?

No. Data is used only as described in the Privacy Policy to provide, protect, and maintain the service, or to respond to valid legal requests.

04 / FORWARDING & ATTACHMENTS

Long-term isolation mode

Should I use a forwarding alias or a disposable email?

Choose a disposable email for tasks completed within 24 hours that do not need recovery. Choose a forwarding alias for ongoing subscriptions, password resets, or individually disabling a source. Use your real email for core identity accounts.

Does a forwarding alias expose my real email address?

The registration service sees the alias. TmpOne must process your receiving email to forward messages, so an alias reduces exposure to third parties—it does not hide your address from the service provider.

Are there attachment size limits?

Forwarded messages up to 50MB are forwarded and archived; messages over 50MB and up to 100MB are forwarded without archiving; messages over 100MB are rejected. A temporary inbox is not suitable for storing attachments.

How do I stop mail from a specific source?

Disable the corresponding alias in the console. New messages will be discarded after it is disabled. Before deleting it, make sure no important account is still linked to that address.

05 / TRUST & OPERATIONS

How we run this service

Do I need an account, or to pay?

The disposable inbox is completely free and requires no signup — open the page and it works. Forwarding aliases require a passwordless email-code login (also free), because an alias has to be bound to a real receiving address.

Do you read my mail?

Processing is automated only: spam screening, forwarding, and expiry cleanup. Message content is never profiled, sold, or shared with third parties. Operational logs keep only the metadata needed to trace faults.

How long is data really kept?

Disposable-inbox mail dies with the inbox (24 hours at most); the forwarding archive clears itself after 30 days; deleted aliases and messages cannot be recovered. We keep no "just in case" copies.

Can I send mail from a temporary address?

No. Every TmpOne address is receive-only, by design. Outbound capability would turn the service into a spam cannon and drag down deliverability for every user's address.
